Who's "a head" in the 2016 Democratic polls?

See a month-by-month mashup of the top contenders for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.

This infographic shows the monthly rankings of the 2016 Democratic candidates according to average polling data from Real Clear Politics.

The size of each candidate's head is proportional to their polling numbers relative to the first-place contender at the beginning of each month. For example, on November 1, 2015, RCP reported that Hillary Clinton polled an average of 48.8% while Bernie Sanders polled an average of 27.0%. As a result, Sanders' head is 55% the size of Clinton's in November.

We'll update this infographic at the first of each month, or as Real Clear Politics releases its polling data.
