Open Plan Professional Gantt Chart

Create a Gantt chart with tasks, milestones, and swimlanes in OnePager using one or more projects exported from Open Plan Professional.

Get started by downloading a free trial of OnePager, then follow these instructions to see how it works with your projects from Open Plan Professional:

  1. Let's begin with a project in Open Plan Professional. In order to bring it into OnePager, you'll need to export it from Open Plan into either Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project format. We recommend Primavera P6 format, since a local P6 installation is not required to perform the export. We will use Primavera P6 as the basis for these instructions.

  2. Once your project has been exported from Open Plan Professional into either Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project format, launch OnePager from your desktop:

  3. When the OnePager start screen appears, click on New to start building a new Gantt chart from your Open Plan project:

  4. On the next screen, go to Select > BROWSE Primavera P6 Files, and import your Open Plan project in XER format:

  5. OnePager can filter the tasks in your project to bring in as much or as little detail as necessary. In this example, we only want to display the activity-level data from Open Plan Professional, so we'll switch OnePager's filter to Activities (Non-Summary):

  6. Click on Create new chart, and OnePager will import your non-summary tasks from Open Plan, creating a Gantt chart like this:
