-
In Planisware, we have a portfolio of three projects:
-
For each of the three projects, we should indicate which activities to include in the OnePager Gantt chart. The best way to do this is to insert an attribute called Send to OnePager? into each project. For the first project, we have selected summary activities from the WBS:
-
For consistency, repeat the same process of selecting summary activities for the remaining projects, saving each project in the portfolio once the selections are complete.
-
Next, start OnePager using either the desktop icon or Windows Start menu:
-
On the OnePager start screen, choose New to begin building a new multi-project Gantt chart from Planisware:
-
From the import wizard, go to Select > BROWSE Planisware Enterprise:
If this is your first time using OnePager with Planisware, OnePager will prompt you to log into your Planisware Enterprise account.
-
OnePager will display a list of all of the projects available in your Planisware account. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on all each of the projects from the portfolio so that all three are selected for import, and then click OK:
-
Give your Gantt chart a name, and make sure that you have selected the Send to OnePager? attribute as your activity filter, so that only summary tasks will appear in your Gantt chart:
-
To finish the import, click Create New Chart:
OnePager will import the summary tasks from each project in Planisware, and create a Gantt chart that shows the entire portfolio. Each project from Planisware is grouped into its own swimlane in OnePager.
