Planner Gantt Chart

Import tasks from Planner, formerly Project for the web (P4W), into OnePager to build a high-level Gantt chart.

OnePager imports key tasks from Planner and creates high-level Gantt charts, like this:

If you don't already have OnePager, click the button above to download a free trial. Then, follow these instructions to get started:

  1. Start with a simple project plan in Planner, where we several phases, each with multiple sub-tasks:

  2. To build your Gantt chart, launch OnePager using either the desktop icon or Windows Start menu:

  3. On the OnePager start screen, choose New to start building a new Planner Gantt chart:

  4. From the import wizard, go to Select > BROWSE Project for the Web. Project for the Web is in the process of being re-branded as Microsoft Planner.

    If this is your first time using OnePager with Planner, OnePager will prompt you to log into your Planner account.

  5. Once connected to Planner, OnePager will display a list of all of your available projects. Select one and click OK:

  6. When you return to the import wizard, chose the Select individual tasks to import option:

  7. On the selection screen, decide which tasks you would like to include in your Gantt chart by checking the box next to the ones you would like to import:

  8. To finish the import from Planner, click Create New Chart:
