Beginning with OnePager 6.1, you have the ability to hide specific date ranges on the time axis, creating gaps in your project timeline. Any units of time may be hidden:
Hiding Time
The fastest way to hide a section of your time axis is to right-click on the period(s) that you want to remove, and choose the Hide Cell option:
However, you can also create rules to hide timespans for you so that you don't have to make manual edits. To do this:
- Right-click anywhere on the time axis and choose the Time Axis Properties option.
- Click on the Format tab, and then click the Add Timespan button:
- In the grid, enter the start date and finish date of the period of time that you want to hide, and then make sure that the Show box is unchecked:
- In the example above, we are hiding the entire month of August 2020 from the time axis.
In addition to hiding a specific range of dates, OnePager also allows you to hide specific weekdays/weekends, and to hide non-working time.
Unhiding Time
If you have hidden periods of time in your Gantt chart and need to get them all back at once, go to Home > Show/Hide > Show All Time Axis Cells:
This will instantly restore all previously-hidden date ranges to your time axis in a single button click.
If you need to unhide a specific date range, but not everything, OnePager's timespan rules will give you more control. Here's how:
- Right-click anywhere on the time axis and choose the Time Axis Properties option.
- Click on the Format tab, and locate the timespan(s) that you want to restore in the grid:
- Re-checking the Show box next to any hidden timespan will restore it to the time axis. In the example above, we will restore April 2020 to the time axis, but will keep June 2020 hidden by leaving its box unchecked.
