Floating Time Axis

OnePager 6.1 lets you insert a floating time axis anywhere into the body of your chart, letting you go beyond the time axes that have traditionally appeared at the top and bottom of earlier versions.

Stretch and hide time in your Gantt chart.

To insert a floating time axis:

  1. Right-click in empty space:

Right click to insert a floating time axis
  2. When the context menu appears, choose Insert Floating Time Axis and choose the corresponding level from your main time axis that you want to include. For example, if your main time axis (at the top of your chart) has a top level set to years, a middle level set to quarters, and a bottom level set to months, choosing to insert a Bottom Level floating time axis will insert monthly units to match the bottom level of your main time axis.
  3. Not sure which level is which? You can double-check how your main time axis is configured by going to Home > Project View Properties > Time Axis. You'll see three tabs for the Top Level, Middle Level, and Bottom Level, which will tell you the corresponding units that will be inserted with a floating time axis:

Double-check the units on your main time axis.
