Deadlines let you display your current project dates and compare them to the deadline for each task. To turn deadlines on, go to Home > Chart Properties > Task Bars and check the Deadline Markers. OnePager will import your deadline dates and display it on the same line as the task itself:
In the example above, deadlines are connected to the main task bar with a dotted line to make it easier to visualize any slippage or slack. Met deadlines are in black, while missed deadlines are in red.
To customize the formatting of your deadline symbols, go to Home > Chart Properties > Task Bars (or Milestones) and click on the Deadline Properties button. This enables you to:
- Change the default deadline color
- Assign a special color for missed deadlines
- Customize the connector line between the task and its deadline
- Display the deadline date as text
- Change the deadline symbol
Using a Different Deadline
By default, OnePager uses the standard Microsoft Project "Deadline" field. However, any valid date field can be used in its place. To change which field is displayed as a deadline, go to Home > Chart Properties > Field Mappings:
