Some organizations have embraced AI, while others prefer not to use it. As a result, OnePager's AI import filters are disabled by default, and must be enabled in conjunction with your IT department. AI import filters give you the ability to use natural language prompts to decide which tasks and milestones should be included into your chart without the need to manually set up custom import filter logic. To get started:

Launch OnePager as a standalone application using the desktop icon. AI import filters are not currently supported in OnePager's add-ins for Microsoft Project or Excel, but you can use AI to import data from these sources when launched from the desktop.

On the start screen that appears, click NEW, and then select the project that you want to import.

From the import wizard, choose the option to Select tasks using AI:

A window will appear, where you can type a sentence or two describing the tasks that you want to import:
In this example, we'll set our prompt to "Show me all tasks that are scheduled to start in the future." Before writing your own prompt, make sure to review our things to remember.

Click OK, and OnePager will convert your natural language prompt to rules, like this:
Assuming the rules look good, click OK.

OnePager will return you to the import wizard, where you can click Create new chart:
From here, OnePager will import any tasks and milestones that satisfy your filter, just like it would if you were using a traditional flag field.
Things to Remember
As with all AI services, there a number of things to keep in mind:

Don’t enter sensitive information: Keep prompts free of confidential data, project details, or anything you wouldn’t want to leave your company. Prompts are not transmitted to OnePager, but are transmitted to Microsoft, which is the third-party provider of our AI service.

AI isn't perfect: Results can be inaccurate or incomplete, so always double-check before relying on them.

Your prompts aren’t training the model: Microsoft, the provider of our AI service, states that your prompts are not being used to train their model. However, we encourage you to periodically monitor Microsoft's terms of service in case that ever changes in the future.

Be specific: The clearer your prompt, the more useful your results will be. If you would like OnePager to filter your data on a specific field, it's usually a good idea to include the name of that field in your prompt instead of relying on AI to guess which field contains the relevant data.
