Easier Timeline and Gantt Chart Layouts

OnePager 7.0 has simplified the selection of timeline and Gantt chart layouts so that you can get the chart that you want more quickly.

In OnePager 7.0, we made it more intuitive to switch between a Timeline Layout (multiple tasks per row) and a Gantt Chart Layout (one task per row). While the underlying functionality has not changed, you should find that the settings are easier to find and easier to understand.

A Gantt Chart Layout lays tasks out top-to-bottom with one task per row, like this:

To create a Gantt Chart Layout, go to Home > Chart Properties > Rows/Swimlanes. Change your Task Layout to Gantt Chart and click OK:

Timeline Layout

A Timeline Layout places multiple tasks left-to-right in the same row, like this:

To create a Gantt Chart Layout, go to Home > Chart Properties > Rows/Swimlanes. Change your Task Layout to Timeline and click OK:

Accounting for Overlapping Tasks

As with previous versions of OnePager, when multiple tasks are placed into the same row, users can decide whether to allow or avoid overlapping tasks.
